14. Procrastination. If you had more time, you’d be able to put it off longer. What do you put off to the last moment? Why? Tell a story about how you just barely got something done in time – or didn’t.

Strength?

Giant muscles
Even bigger heart
Great power
Even greater virtues
Crushes skulls
Flattens any doubt.

Questions Unanswered

Imagine this space filled with everything except words and labels.
What are words without their meaning?
Words cannot possibly exist without their meaning.
What if only meaning existed?
That IS more important anyway.
Could we forget the words?
We could not still be human.
Is it at all possible to love or hate without some form of expression?
Would they ever know?
Is it at all possible to be happy or sad without expressing it?
What a dark, dark world it would be.

And, while you're at it...
What is the truth of existence?

Mural of No End

The light licks the crest of the dark water's waves
The horizon does not exist in this late hour
Ahead of us only lies the infinite sparks of possibility
The whispers of voices from the trees call all around us
Trying to pull us into the abyss
The weeping willow wraps her arms around our shoulders
Pushing us together
The earth feels frozen beneath us
The faint heat from your nearby body reassures me there is hope in our future
To most the dark is the foulest of places
But to us it is our escape
In the dark the sky and waves combine
We can go anywhere
We break down our daylight boundaries
We imagine the impossible:
Staying here forever - no place else we would rather be
The faint flickering stars on the lake seem to stare back at us
Two worlds apart we are from
But one thing in common:
Our future is as uncertain as the ripples in the water...
Or is that the sky?
Creatures scamper between the tall blades of grass we set our weight on
This is their time, too
