mgd09050, Hello everyone! My name is Matt and I'm a Senior at Castleton State College. I'm finishing up my Environmental Science degree with minors in Statistics and Chemistry. I am a transplant from NJ, but I really can't imagine living anywhere else. Vermont has afforded me so many wonderful opportunities to do the things I love, such as rock climbing, skiing, camping, and hiking. I look forward to reading the writing of all you up and comers!

kann1020 Hi everyone! I am a junior in the Elementary Education program at the University of Vermont. My major concentration is Communication Sciences and I am also getting a minor in Special Education. I have lived in Vermont my whole life and because of that love to cross country ski! I also enjoy biking, reading, and baking. I can't wait to read your work!

StLucianMentor. I’m a junior in the Elementary Education program at UVM with a minor in Human Development and Sociology. I was born and raised in St.Lucia W.I but now I live in New York. I enjoy photography, hairstyling, cooking, baking and traveling. I’m really excited to be a YWP mentor and look forward to reading and commenting on many pieces.

cpstetso I am a junior at the University of Vermont in the Elementary Education program with a minor in French. I have lived in Vermont all of my life, but have had many opportunities to travel (Belgium, France, Costa Rica and many more). I come from a big family and a long line of teachers. I enjoy reading, traveling, and cooking with my friends and family. I can't wait to read some of your work!

Jesachi I'm a junior at the University of Vermont in the Elementary Education program. My major concentration is in English and I love to read, write and fortunately, edit work! During my free time, I spend some time at the Rock Wall here at UVM, I practice Taekwondo and love to do some shopping. I love to scuba dive and go skiing. I have a dog named Roxy, who is the most loyal friend a guy could have, and a pet snake named Timber. I also love to listen to music and cook. Kelseyjm Hi! I'm a junior at UVM and my major concentration is history. I love music and singing, I am part of the Jazz Vocal Ensemble here at UVM. I have been very interested in music since I was in elementary school. I also love running and go for a run almost everyday. In the summer I also go hiking. Uvmlwilliams Hi I am a junior in the elementary education program at the University of Vermont with a major concentration split between psychology and communication sciences. I am from Oakton, Virginia which is right outside of DC where my dad used to be my principal. When I was in elementary school I really struggled with my writing so I know how challenging it can be! I have been very impressed with the work I have read so far and am excited to see from all of you!

lschneek Hey there "young writers". I'm a junior in the elementary education program at the University of Vermont with my major concentration in History and Sociology. I've always been passionate about reading and writing, and write a lot in my spare time. I mostly write poetry and songs but I've written a few short stories, plays, and prose pieces as well. When I was younger, I always wanted feedback on my writing but was too shy to read it in front of an audience, even of my close friends! I'm so excited to be able to give feedback to other writers who are in the same position I was. I've been impressed with everyone's work so far and am really looking forward to reading more!

Tenzley Hello writing community, My name is Tyler and I'm a junior at the University of Vermont majoring in Elementary Education. My major concentration is Psychology and Human Development/Family Studies. I was home schooled for several years and my favorite part about it was how much attention to detail my mom gave to my writing. I enjoy rock climbing, playing sports, going to see live concerts, and traveling. I have been to Jamaica and France. I and intend on going to Australia when I graduate. I have always enjoyed reading and writing, I look forward to reading to what you have to write!
