The biggist suprise for me in the book was that the guy that framed Evans dad was Colburn. All throughout the book I thought that it was Mr. Richmand.
Also in the end when Evan did not remember the "everythings A OK" signal kind of suprised me because I rememberd it and he didn't, but other wise the book was quite typical for a mystery.

The biggest surprise for me, was the fact that Evan actually got the girl he wanted at the end of the book.
