Ring of Fire
When I was in 4th grade my dad brought me to the fair. We were walking around and I saw it, the Ring of Fire. It was a huge black loop with fake flames coming off it. I immediately yelled to my dad saying this was the ride I wanted to go on. Once we got on the ride I realized I didn’t know what it did, will it go half way up or in a complete circle? After, we got buckled up the ride started going up a little, but not enough to freak me out. Then, the ride started going faster and higher, I started to feel myself slipping out of the seatbelt, which we soon realized didn’t work right. Once the ride started to go full speed I started screaming because of how frightening the ride was without a seatbelt that worked. My dad was trying to hold the bar down where the seatbelt attached as I was holding on for dear life. You can probably imagine how frightened I was during this experience and it is sure one I will always remember. Clearly, this was a dangerous and fright filled experience. That was the LAST time I will ever go on an upside down fair ride!
