Arm Writing 3

The third installment.

Your Mother Should Know- My dad had The Beatles turned on this morning, playing off of our computer. I was kind of in a state of halfsleep, but I could perfectly hear the song. My dream suddenly became me and Casey/Gildron/Keys standing at the top of some red velvet-covered stairs, with all of the other YWP members sitting in seats at the bottom. I kinda sub-subconsciously knew who everybody was, and for some reason the two of us started singing that song...and there were like...two clones of each of us wearing letters on their shirts spelling out the title of the song. They sang backup. Which later I realized was impossible, as there would only be 6 people for 20 letters. It was weird.

2008 is the Year- Keeping with the theme of mentioning the Red Sox at least once, I believe that they're gonna win it all again. I started reading a book chronicling the events of the 2004 season, day by day. It's by Stewart O'Nan and Stephen King. The cover has a nice picture from the beginning of one of the famous fights of the season against the Yankees; the picture is of Varitek slamming his catcher's mitt and fist into A-Rod's face. I laugh every time I see it.

Green-Mulleted and mustachioed me- My brother was playing a football game where you could customize your character, and decided to make a guy who was "me" but looked even less like me than my attempt. It's impossible to actually make a character look a lot like you, but to take that to an extreme annoyed me. Especially because: a) I hate mullets, and b) It was a "Groucho Marx" 'stache.

Giant Raven- Another occurance while gaming. I heard a knocking on my chamber door. Actually, no. It was just a raven on a tree branch outside. But it was HUGE. Seriously, the thing was huge! ...Did I mention it was huge?

I Love Lucy- The best show ever made.

Zamboni- Also gaming, but this time snowboarding/skiing. Suddenly, a "trasil groomer" came out of nowhere and knocked my brother's character down. I laughed, and recognized the thing as a zamboni. Except, it wasn't, it was a trail groomer. Zambonis are for ice rinks. I should have known that, because hockey is a favorite sport of mine. And by that, I mean I like to go to hockey games and watch the players hurt each other. Then I laugh.

Snow Day!- All right, so it rained. But I did go outside, and the bleak, grey sky looked pleasant. And anyways, there was snow on the ground. Now tell me it wasn't a snow day.

Go Celts!- As the Boston Celtics are playing against the Detroit Pistons in a game that, if won by them, will propel them to the playoffs where they were gonna go anyways. But it'll do it sooner. Plus, they're: a) A Boston team. That alone is enough. and, b) Their mascot is a leprechaun, and they have shamrocks on their jerseys. So yeah, that makes them 100% awesome.

And that's all for today! See you next time onnnnn "The Price is Right"!
...no....that's wrong...

Nice.

Hehe. Your dreams sound like mine. I get some incredibly weird ones. And I love the giant raven.

these are incredibly fun to

these are incredibly fun to write.
I think the dream was because I'm incredibly psyched for Saturday, and because that song was being played really. loudly.

Usagi's picture

Ha.

Ha. Yeah, me too. Only a few more days...one more US History class...

And yes. It is a snow. Day. Or an ice day. Rain day.

Professor_Zoom's picture

Yep. let's see...what do I

Yep.
let's see...what do I have tomorrow...?
Oh nice!
Thursday is usually a mediocre day, and we have double art for the last two periods, meaning half the day can be wasted singing during that time, because I only need to be slightly concentrating on spinning wool to get a good grade...
and then on Friday I go skiing after about 2 and a half hours, so it's like school doesn't even happen at all!

and then I go home
and pace around in anticipation
or maybe watch "The Dead Zone"
and then
and then
I like
Sleep.
and then
AAAA
the anticipation is KILLING meeee!!!

I love I love Lucy, we have

I love I love Lucy, we have Two VHS tapes of that show. :P

I used to watch them quite a lot, I need to go and watch them again.

Nice dream, I wish I could make it to the conference.

At Usagi: Hahaha, Callahan.....

At least you save money on movie tickets. Not that you would pay to see what he is showing.

Usagi's picture

I wish

I wish he'd show movies more often, rather than rumble on about how disrespectful we are because nobody brings their history books to class anymore, since we never use them.
