Time

It was daylight savings time day today -- "spring forward, fall back". I woke up at six, which was TECHNICALLY five, which makes me very angry inside. Anyway, I decided that it was far too early to get up, no matter how useful and effective this "holiday" is.
Lucky me, I couldn't fall back asleep, so I fell down the ladder of my loft bed and grabbed a book and a box of girl scout cookies. Thin mints always save the day, especially in March, in this "icesnowslushrain"...stuff.
Out of the window, I could see my family's little silver car, covered in white. And by the looks of the driveway, it didn't look like I'd be going anywhere today unless I walked. Great.
Around 12 pm, I had had enough cookies to last at least a month, and I reluctantly went downstairs for some ramen. Ah, ramen, how I love you.
That was basically the highlight of my day, because, true to my predictions, the car's handicap prevented me from going any farther than about four feet. And now, staring at the sunset at the new time of 6:30, I'm wondering...
Is it really worth it to change the time every year?
