i liked the format, but maybe more time when we can just hang out. i know im sounding like a teenage girl, but whatever. and can we do it around the end of the school year?
also, this site is still up and running during the summer, right?

I totally understand the hanging out part.... I decided to shorten lunch a bit because the weather was so lousy and I was worried that we wouldn't get you all out in time. As it was, we also didn't spend much time talking about the project or the site which is really important -- I value all of your opinions, ideas and thoughts and the more you tell me the more things we can do.

I can see doing something in late spring.

And yes, absolutely, this site will be going all summer.

I kinda liked the format last time so I'd stick with it. And doing it in late spring/ early summer is a much better idea than in the middle of March when it's still risky for the weather to be bad...

I think maybe we could do more writing activities and prompts and stuff, and then at the end we could have a whole group reading, kind of like a poetry slam?

I kinda like that idea... except that I don't really like to read my stuff aloud...

I also just like listening to other people's work sometimes, especially my friend Becca, I don't know if you remember her from the conference. She's just a really great performer of her writing.

Okay... so after consulting a map, I figured that (and this is not just because it's convinient for me) if we're to have a summer convention in the southern area of Vermont, it should be in Rutland. Maybe the Rutland Free Library? I know that we were kinda loud, but apparently there is a special room where these things can be held and (according to Babbit) the Robotics team from this area got together there and were rediculously loud, but nothing was said. Just an idea.

However, that was the case for me and Babbit who live well... in the general vicinity of Rutland... (I live in Rutland and she lives... near Rutland.) But it also gives students waaaay down south a chance to come to the convention this time around.

actually they must have exceptions for food in the library because i live in rutland and for a class, actually it was peer mediation training, we got pizza and snacks there. The top room is a great place in the library to host stuff. They had no problem with us eating there so maybe you should check into that
