Arm Writing 7

Look up in the sky!- During art history today, we were looking at religious art from the middle ages. There was one painting that was part of the story of St. Francis of Assisi, and it showed all of these people looking at Francis. Then, I noticed something. In the sky was a hand. Seriously, a human hand was just floating there, in the sky of that painting. Now, I don't know if this was part of the story, or if the hand symbolizes god, but it was extremely unexpected. Kind of like a pig falling through your roof.

Garden Gnome- These guys kinda creep me out, with their huge long beards, and their cheery little smiles. I guess most inanimate objects that grin seem like they know something, and it's damn scary. I think they want to kill me. Kind of like...dolls. *shudder*

Where's Dominic?- This also came out of art history, where we learned about this one Dominican abbey where there were separate little cells
(for contemplation of stuff, I guess) where the Dominican monks would sit. Now, in each cell, there would be a small painting near the door illustrating a scene from some biblical story or other. Apparently, in each one was the founder of the Dominican order, a guy named Dominic. So no matter whether it was the birth of Jesus, or whatever, that guy was there, hiding in the background. We kept trying to pick him out of crowds, and I remarked on how like "Where's Waldo" this was. The guy had his own distinct robes, but there were always a lot of people around him. It became a game after long, and it was actually really fun.

Pink is the new mustard yellow- I overheard some people, I think in my class, saying this. Now, first of all (I may be corrected if I'm wrong), but since when was wearing "mustard yellow"-colored clothing the image of coolness? It just reminds me of that "French's" insanely yellow mustard, which has got to be unnaturally yellow. Yes, it's true that this was a joke, but with people in my school, you just never know.
Seriously.

Pineappled- During lunch, I was having a conversation with a friend when we heard a loud yell and noticed that another friend of mine had seemingly dropped her pineapples all over herself, and the water in the container had soaked her pants and the couch she was on. We went on to discuss how this was called "pineappling", and how she had just gotten "pineappled", and how great a travesty it was. Then we found out that it wasn't from the pineapple container at all, it was...salad dressing. Now that just sucks.
