Frustration
The tinny sound of someone laughing
Drifts lazily across the room to my ears
And the barely perceptible whispered snatches
Of snide comments are all that it seems I can hear
A flip of bleached hair and the flash of a mirror
Invade my peripheral vision and blur
Just because you have finished before the bell
Doesn't mean that the rest of us don't have work

good!
you told a nice story with this.
spelling error Tinny => Tiny
but It was an excellent poem. I think that if you put some references in there about time running out, you can really hammer in your theme of frustration. Still, nice writing!

I agree.
I would be furious as well, well seeing as your frustrated, I guess its not the same, because basically I would just turn around and flip out on the person who had the mirror/ the source of the noise and annoyance. Also, I totally know how you feel, I am a terribly slow test taker/just doing work overall, and then there are the kids who are crazy fast and well when they are done what they do is, they like to talk and throw things, be crazy annoying and its very rude. I don't know how you have the patience to deal with them, because I sure as hell wouldn't.
