Ocean
Ocean
By Emma Webster
Lyme School, Grade 7
Roaring waves
Of tumultuous thunder
Beat upon the beach.
Drops of foam
Dance like pixies,
Just beyond my reach.
The slimy rocks,
White with salt,
Which force the waves to breach.
Shells are swept
Upon the shore
White from the ocean’s bleach.
All four elements
Make up the strand,
All for the other to teach

I really liked how the poem
I really liked how the poem flowed through the different lines. I also liked how the poem flowed but didn't have to rhyme. Another thing i liked was the style of the poem. I thought this was a very good subject to write a poem about. The poem reminds me of going to the beach in the summer.
