The Global Effect
As the years go by and the snow becomes thin
Losing weight on a hot, spicy diet
Snow no longer looks like lard in a bin
The thought of the world’s end caused a riot.
The ocean’s waters are starting to rise
Worried parents think of their child’s’ futures
Non-believers cover it up with lies
Holes in the Ozone require sutures.
Windmills and Hybrids may save our planet
We use solar power and recycling
Poked holes with the end of a bayonet
On your way to work save us bicycling.
Sun’s rays can be harmful on a beach dock
So do not forget to put on your sun block.
