Darkness. Afraid that it’s going to swallow me whole, throw me into a place that I’ll never see daylight. It seems like darkness is always there, always going to take me away, almost like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Whatever happened to Todo? Huh? There is nothing that will take the darkness away from me, it’s always there, terrifying me. When I turn the lights off at night and walk over to my bed, I begin to run, I jump high so I know nothing will grab at my feet, and hide under my blankets, the place where I know it’s safe, the place where nothing will get me till the morning sun shines over my bed and wakes me.
