14. Procrastination. If you had more time, you’d be able to put it off longer. What do you put off to the last moment? Why? Tell a story about how you just barely got something done in time – or didn’t.

Another poem about "Green"

Here is another great poem about the color 'green.' The words here tell me a story and I can sense the feelings in the poetry.

GREEN
By Matt Vinci

Green is a special color.
When I see green, I can almost smell the green grass.
I can see the reflection of the green grass in my swimming pool.
It seems that every day that I look at the green grass,
it is growing.

When I go out for a nice car ride,
I can see all the great, green mountains.
of Vermont.

Green is a special color.
We even have holidays that involve green.
St. Patrick’s Day is full ‘o green.
People walk around with green beads everywhere.

Then there is Christmas.
When we get to the tree-farm, I can see
the great, green trees.
Me and Mom find the perfect tree,
making sure that the tree is
just right in its color and its size.
Then we bring it home
and we put all the sparkling red and green lights up
until it shines so bright!

Green is a special color to me.
I love green.
It is my favorite color, and
I hope that my poem about green
makes green
everybody else’s
favorite color.
