Alone

Now that the
Sun
Is shinning
Again, over
The fields
Scattered with
Golden flowers who
Seem to shine
On their
Own,
I find myself
Thinking,
Remembering

You.

The way you would
Kiss my cheek
So sweetly
so sweetly
As we lay
Together
On the grass,

The way you would
Pick a flower
And put it
Behind my ear,
In my hair.

It seems
I'll be laughing
Alone
This year,
Out in the
Sun,
And singing myself
To sleep
Under the
Moon.
