5. Haunted. Have you ever been in a house where things go bump in the night? Do you believe that some buildings or places are haunted? Is there one in your town? Tell us a story about it. Make it believable.
Alternate: Lockers. What one thing do you wish no one to know about in your locker? Or what is the most important thing in your locker? Deadline: Friday Oct. 17.

I’m the burning rage in your heart; your fear gives me life.
I am there to tear you apart when your mind is filled with strife!
I fill your desires with greed and stress, of course.
I never tire; I make you feel no remorse!
I make you feel envious towards your friends,
And watch as your relationship ends!
I’m responsible for crime and murder.
I cause dread and disorder!
I create stereotypes that are quite crude.
I inspire you to get into mischief and act rude.
The stronger I am, the more you can spread
Wrath and terror in everyone’s head!
I am the origin of sins on the planet.
I don’t care how you feel about it!
I am the darkness in the light.
I loathe what is right!
I am a bully who controls your fate!
Who am I? I am HATE!

I’m the warm tranquility in your heart; your courage gives me life.
I am there to help you when your mind is filled with strife.
I fill you desires with kindness and hope, of course!
I never tire; I make you feel remorse.
I make you feel empathy towards your friends and fellows,
And watch as your relationship grows!
I am responsible for justice and serenity.
I cause peace and stability.
I create unique ideas that are quite lovely.
I inspire people to be creative and act friendly!

Happiness and comfort in everyone’s head.
I am the origin of virtues in the planet.
I would like to hear what you think about it.
I am the light in the darkness.
