It's not absolutely horrible! It's great improv, with some pauses longer than others, but otherwise quite brilliant.

Also, what did you use to record that? My mic is sucktacular in comparison.

I recorded it with my iMic and Garageband... then ran it through Switch and another sound trapping system. yeah... some pauses are longer than others, but hey, complete improv... and yes... i do wonder whether the octopi have feet or hands...

OK. I love it. What I like is the evolution of your thoughts, how you stuck with the four-leaf clover image. On the fly? Wow. Cool work. (Confession: I am jammed this morning; I'll listen a third time later and see if I can append something remotely useful.)
Thoughts on the audio ... I like the conversational part... But I wonder if it's better if you really keep it brief at the start... no need to explain, just jump in. ... Quality IS excellent. ... Don't be afraid to go to extreme in your delivery for emphasis....

AND.... here's a link to start you on the path to explore the whole idea of poetry "slamming." Geof Hewitt, of course, is Slam Poetry King of the Mountains here in Vermont. -gg
