To submit to Newspaper Series

  • Log in. (Click "Not a YWP member?" to create an account.)

  • Click "create content" and create an ENTRY
  • Fill out "title," "author name, school & grade" and "prompt" boxes.
  • Paste story into "body."
  • Click "Submit." You are done.
    NOTES: Your account email must be accurate; a "blog" entry must be resubmitted as an ENTRY to be considered.

Okay, that's no fair. This is just a little teaser. You MUST expand it and tell the whole story. Pretty please with sugar on top, strawberries in the middle and, and, and, and hot fudge somewhere else.
There has got to be a good story in this.

Well, really,

He just picked up a flyswatter/grill lighter combo thingy and pressed the button with the end where the fire comes out facing him. Luckily, it wasn't switched on. He just didn't know it was, you know, a lighter.
