Observation of politics

All the candadates are lined up,
In front of you.
Like prized cows,
at the country fair.
You check their teeth,
and look for blemishes,
until you find one you like,
and want to bid on.
When the moment comes,
at last,
you find that other people,
want your cow, too.
So you pay an enormus sum of money,
to get her.
When you get home,
people crowd around her,
and oooooh and aaaaaahhhh,
in wonderment.
Then they get bored and walk away.
The next summer,
the same cow,
is causing mayhem.
Kicking her handler,
escaping from her stall,
and eating other farmer's crops.
One year ago,
this was the best cow,
in the fair.
Now you will have to,
look for a new one.

I usually don't think like this, but when i was thinking about what to write, i looked at the sidebar and saw an article about obama... That was the politics. Then i saw the headline saying obama wrong... and decided to take the view of somebody who mabye thinks that anarchy never died...

Take a gander at Africa and
Take a gander at Africa and Afghanistan. Anarchy is alive and well.
This made me think.
The point of view is interesting, and the continuing metaphor is effective. However, it seems odd to me that a political candidate is a cow that is bid upon by single people instead of a trophy winner adored by groups of them. I never looked at it that way.
hey ... that actally makes sense..
yah! thanks for pointing that out.. i'll fix that in a little bit thanks:)
