Jezebel

Podcast:

The lyrics:

Chorus:
Jezebel
kisses all of their lips
and it tastes like hell.
She loves the skin,
the warmth of bodies is the only way
that she can win.
Jezebel, Jezebel,
I wish you well.

She uses perfume to hide
the scent of deceit,
she uses perfume.
And everyone stares
as she walks through the doors
into the room.

Chorus

She uses her hair to hide
her midnight eyes
and all their despair.
She uses her blood red lips
to get them all to stare.

Chorus

(Guitar)

Chorus

Jezebel,
Jezebel,
Jezebel,
Jezebel,
I wish you well...

Thanks. I wish I had gotten to see you guys, but I was a bit... preoccupied.

I wrote this one. The other song, "Home", was actually a collaborative effort between Dylan and me. They were mostly his lyrics, but I tweaked them a bit so that they rhymed, and I did the melody.

You guys had a concert?? I wish I could've gone.

The sound on my computer is currently disabled, but these lyrics are gorgeous. Your writing has a lovely, ethereal quality to it, and still it manages to say so much so vividly.

I didn't know Dylan wrote songs. He should join YWP. Everyone should join YWP!!
