To submit to Newspaper Series

  • Log in. (Click "Not a YWP member?" to create an account.)

  • Click "create content" and create an ENTRY
  • Fill out "title," "author name, school & grade" and "prompt" boxes.
  • Paste story into "body."
  • Click "Submit." You are done.
    NOTES: Your account email must be accurate; a "blog" entry must be resubmitted as an ENTRY to be considered.

I appear to have an uncontrollable mental obsession with a nonexistent apple tree.

ii.
Just because it's purple doesn't mean it's non-toxic.

iii.
Chunks of gravel sink much more easily than you would expect.

iv.
I have a strange tendency to just up and disappear.

v.
I'd prefer a thousand kisses to a life of solitude.

vi.
Don't worry - world domination's only second on my list.

vii.
Apparently there's reason to fear for my life.

viii.
I've always wanted to be the antagonist.

ix.
The moment you realize your purpose is the moment you realize your death.

i love these but strongly disagree with ii. Purple in my mind automatically means non-toxic :)

Actually, I was originally thinking, "just because it's purple doesn't mean it's toxic," but then I changed it because it sounded better to me the other way.
