To submit to Newspaper Series

  • Log in. (Click "Not a YWP member?" to create an account.)

  • Click "create content" and create an ENTRY
  • Fill out "title," "author name, school & grade" and "prompt" boxes.
  • Paste story into "body."
  • Click "Submit." You are done.
    NOTES: Your account email must be accurate; a "blog" entry must be resubmitted as an ENTRY to be considered.

i must say,
this is really quite intriguing,
i'm laughing at my reaction;
"holy crap.
where did my writing go?"
a moment of horror,
a moment of panic,
a burning question;
"was that suppost to happen?"
whether it wasn't or it was,
i'm actually grateful,
i am starting over
the way i do on a clean sheet of paper.

I did some work on the site and clearly there are a few glitches. Click on "yaMoGeekRoZ's blog" at bottom of this story and you should see all your stuff just fine. I see it.

Another way is through your account....

As to the administration page and the weird message on the front page today, not sure why that came up. A glitch in the updating software and I will try to get to the bottom of it. It should be gone now.

The admin page and the "weird message" came up because the site thought the main blog (also known as the front page) was starting from scratch - like Wordpress' "Hello World!", this must be Drupal's way of filling in a space before you get started. You'll see this if you ever start real blog on their site or running that service. Before you have actual content, that is.

I've seen this before, I had confidence that it would be fixed then, and it was; and here I am now, dually reassured, but still I admit there was a moment of panic. Luckily I was able to knock it out and shove it into the chest in the back of my mind. Note to self: be laid back next time, INCLUDING on the inside.
