  • Log in. (Click "Not a YWP member?" to create an account.)

  • Click "create content" and create an ENTRY
  • Fill out "title," "author name, school & grade" and "prompt" boxes.
  • Paste story into "body."
  • Click "Submit." You are done.
    NOTES: Your account email must be accurate; a "blog" entry must be resubmitted as an ENTRY to be considered.

the ugly parts
of life.
You can't just forget
the awkward moments,
delete other people's
feelings.
Ugliness is who we are,
and we let ourselves
forget.
You're trying too hard.
You're wrecking this
place,
and every step you take
is a fallen
man.
It's falling now,
falling slowly and
crashing down around us.
I only hope
that the rain
washes away our
tears.
