Week 27:NoTV-Paquette

Life Without TV
By Allyson Paquette

Rochester High School, Grade 9

Living without television
Might sound weird to you
Boring as heck
What to do?

But here I am
Almost 16
Soccer and homework
That’s my routine.

No television
Since I was little
How did I live?
Isn’t it vital?

I was always taught
To enjoy what I had.
Playing outside
When I was sad.

Books and radio
Helped to pass some time
Never being bored
During the daytime.

Movies I had
But no MTV
It may seem different
But normal to me.

Well, Allyson, This piece is really great. I like how you used your words. It really makes since because people rely on T.V. to keep them entertained but you are always active. Great Job!!
