Let you go

Your touch makes me feel
Like I can do anything
Your words encourage me
To succeed to be the best I can be
With you next to me
I feel like I can truly be whoever I want to be
You care about everything I say
You listen to every complaint I make
You want me to go far
Even if that means leaving you behind
You want me to be the best I can be
At that moment everything seemed perfect
I had everything I could ever want
You presence, my parents, my friends, myself
I had the trust I wanted
I had the respect I needed
I had the love I longed for
And no matter what happened I knew I had you
How everything can change in such fast a time
How so many people can just break down and cry
Whether or not I chose to let you go
There is something that I want you to know
Every breath I take I think of you
Every move I make I long for you
Every tear I cry, I will stop when I think of you
Even though I don’t see you
Everyday I feel you
And I want you to know
It's going to be hard to let you go
But for right now
I have to go
But promise me
You will always know……
