Just Another Breakup
I like this poem. I like how it is short, simple, and to the point. I also like how you made your feelings known in a way that this is just another bump in the road, and life will move on.
My only question is, by making this seem so small of an event/issue, does some of the meaning of the relationship before this happened get lost?

Thanks everyone...but...
I didn't actually break up with anybody. I was reading a book about losing love (What I Saw and How I Lied) and was thinking about breakups, and past feelings, and the lines just kind-of came to me and fell into place. (Sorry for not mentioning it was fictitious).
So thank you everybody! It's great to know that this is such a supporting community.
(And I know not everybody assumed right away that this had happened to me. I'm trying not to generalize.)
