Vermont

Vermont equals winter and brings out the child in all of us. In the winter there are many things we can do in here. We can make forts, snow angels, snowmen and snow ball fights, and sledding. Winter also provides jobs such as shoveling porches, walkways, driveways and some times roofs. Vermont is a peaceful place where in the winter there are many children sledding down mountains, skiing, and snowboarding in the country side of Vermont there is a nice place that I go to when I hang out with my family, where the snow isn’t muddy in the roads and there is a fresh powder of snow.
We would go snowmobiling, sledding, snowboarding and we would have snowball fights against each other. In the end there was never a winner because we would go inside let our hats, gloves, mittens, socks, and ski pants dry while drinking hot chocolate.
My favorite activity to do with my family is snowmobiling; having it pull a sled is the funniest activity to happen with my family. During the winter my family seems to be getting closer as a group and we have a great time doing these activities as a family.
I grew up in a small town and the town was like a family because there are not a lot of people. Every child went to the same school and we would act like a clan at the school and I would always get picked on by the kids as like my sister picks on me.
During the summer my uncle passed away I would always help him make maple syrup and I would always taste test it when it came out of the boiler. It hit me hard as he was my greatest friend who understood me and I would help him while he worked on the farm and I would have a great time even in the winter. I really miss him a lot.
In the winter I would always shovel off my roof and then I would have to jump off the roof because I use a step stool to get on top of the roof. My mother would always yell, “Christopher James Garland, how many time have I told you not to jump off that roof because you could get hurt.” I know she is fine with me jumping off the roof because we have no latter and she would let me know to be careful so I won’t fall off.
Winter is a time to have fun and to gaze at the stars when there is a clear sky and to go watch hockey matches at Northfield.
Watching the Norwich Cadets play hockey is the most fun I can have because there are many adults and children who love the Cadets. I liked the Norwich Cadets since I was a little boy and try to go to every game.
Vermont is my place of birth and no one can take that away from me. Even though there have been many sad things that happen to me and my family in Vermont we get through it and reflect on the good things that have happened. I’ll never forget the State of Vermont as long as I live.

Good Advice

My mother would always yell, “Christopher James Garland, how many time have I told you not to jump off that roof because you could get hurt.”
Thats a Great Advice and suggest that you follow it word for word.

Good Job Chris G

Good Advice

Thankyou for that comment and I will work more on it.

Better Advice

You have some grammatical errors that you could have fixed, but i agree that all of those are fun to do in the winter. I often go snowmobiling and have snowball fights with my little sister.

Spelling errors

Thankyou very much for letting me know that there are spelling errors that I can correct and I will get right on it.
