Vermont

Vermont has been an influence in my life by having all small towns and all of the wilderness around me. It has allowed me to see my inner self and see all of the beautiful land that businesses destroy everyday to be able to build new condos and apartment buildings. Living in Vermont has made me be able to see all of the environmental problems that are happening around the world today such as global warming. Being out in the Vermont countryside has also made me an animal lover so it scares me to think that all of these beautiful animals could be going extinct so someone can have another car even if they already have four. No one in the city really knows how all of their selfishness can determine a life of a moose or deer that has done nothing wrong at all.
If I were to live in the city I would hate not having all the room and space that I own here with all the peace and quiet that your neighbors give you. People in Vermont tend to be a little more helpful and courteous to you than in a big city if your engine breaks down and you need to find a phone.
Living in the state of Vermont has taught me to be respectful to all kinds of creatures and all humans. It has made me learn all about plants and trees so that when I go out for hikes I will be able to tell the difference between poison ivy and lady fern. One thing about Vermont that I can’t complain about is all the maple syrup and all the homemade jams that people make each year that taste better than any factory stuff. In the end, I am definitely a true Vermonter and will never get used to all the places in the big cities.
