Programs
youngwritersproject.org - provides an interactive Web site where registered students post their writing, audio stories and videos, respond to prompts, receive and give respectful feedback, read tips on writing, engage in online discussions about books, news and life and connect with other young writers.
Newspaper Series - publishes selected student work on the Web, in newspaper and on radio and stage through other YWP Partners. We accept submissions from Vermont and western New Hampshire students in grades K-12.
The Schools Project - helps teachers to engage students in writing, to assist them in improving their writing and to develop their 21st century skills.
Digital Teachers - provides teachers with an interactive learning community to read and share information, ideas, tools, best practices and support to help them use digital technology in their classroom. This site is also the online presence for YWP's Master's Level Practicum in Digital Writing.
College Mentors Program - trains college students who want to help kids improve their writing skills by providing online feedback to students on our Web site.
School visits - generate enthusiasm for writing and its importance among students. Click here to set up a YWP visit at your school.
Student workshops at YWP's Champlain Mill headquarters help young writers develop their writing and multimedia creation skills.
