Prompt: What are you waiting for? If not now, when?
Time: 5 minutes]

It was with a time and a pen that I started to write. I had been waiting and waiting for something to just magically pop up and say "Write about me" but nothing was good enough; either that or I didn't have the skill, the capacity to write about it. I ignored every idea I was given based on insecurities of myself or my topic. I didn't write anything.

Everything started to pile up inside me and I got anxious, scared of losing this part of myself. I bought a book with prompts and, multiple mental arguments later, my brain said "fuck it" and I pulled out a pen, a notebook that I'd been saving for something better (if it ever decided to present itself) and lit a candle.
