His Eyes

It was the most brilliant color blue I'd ever seen
That dazzles in his eyes.
A gray-blue in nature of its hue,
But the glimmer inside is luminescent,
And makes me realize that they are the most unique I’ve ever seen.
They change color, depending on the day.
With that, they change emotion,
From joyous to tear-filled,
To grief-stricken and back to a sort of content feeling.
His eyes, his eyes,
They say it all.
I can tell what he’s thinking,
What he’s feeling,
What’s on his heart.
I can see it all.
In his eyes,
I am who I want to be.
He sees me as I am,
And accepts me as an individual.
The eyes have it.
They are him, and he is them.
His eyes scream out for attention and yet hide away with modesty.
I can read him like a book,
I know his hopes,
His dreams.
Because his eyes give it away.
There’s a passion inside them,
A glee, a sparkle that is unsurpassed.
I see everything,
In his eyes.

Well done!
I want to start by telling you, I really enjoyed reading your poem. I think you used a lot of detail, and good imagery. You were able to paint a picture of what you were trying to say with the use of words such as "His eyes scream out for attention and yet hide away with modesty, hopes, dreams, eyes and passion." I felt like you were able to pull the reader in. My favorite part of your poem is "I am who I want to be.He sees me as I am,And accepts me as an individual. The eyes have it." I think this is well done. Keep up the good writing, and I hope to read other pieces from you.

Thanks!!
I really enjoyed writing this poem and it makes me happy that someone liked reading it too. I think the experiences behind the story are what made this poem so easy to write. I'll post some more of my older poems for you to read.

Guys eyes are my favorite thing personally and you hit the hammer right on the nail when you talked about what his eyes say. Very well written!
