(& some things stay the same)

Don't really know where this is going. Ideas?

There are lots of things in this world that I don't understand.
I don't understand why today was such a beautiful day.
I don't understand why none of my teachers would go let us sit in the sun (not even for a minute).
I don't understand love.
I don't understand high school.
I don't understand pain.
I don't understand the concept of understanding.
Sometimes I wonder why we have to understand.
Why must we understand love?
Isn't it beautiful enough on its own?
I love music. Words & chords & harmony & melody & they work together so perfectly.
Sometimes I wonder why my hair is curly. Technically, I know. Genetics say my hair is curly. But why does it flatten out overnight? Why do I hate it so?
I haven't written in a long time & things are coming out in little spurts & I can never tell if anything is good anymore & I need to get back in the practice of
poetry.
I miss it so.
“I think about death a lot, is that weird?”
“Not necessarily.”
“Well, not really death. But, what people’s reactions to mine would be.”
“I do that too. All the time.”
“So it’s not that weird?”
“Well, I wouldn’t pick me as a judge of that. I’m kind of a weird person.”
“Eih. I kind of love that about you.”
“Weird.”
“What?”
“I love that about you too.”
Sometimes I wonder.

QwertyGirl-
I really love this. I love the repetition and the dialogue was fantastic.
One thing- in "Eih. I kind of love that about you." Should it be spelled 'Eh,' not 'Eih'? I'm not sure. I guess some people do spell it differently... Just something that made me stop and take a second look.
Altogether a very adorable piece of writing. :)

Thank you! @Eih- Heh, no,
Thank you!
@Eih- Heh, no, that was intentional. It's more of an "eih" noise... Not just "eh"... That doesn't make any sense XD. It all makes head in my sense, I swear!

Ok, I was just checking. (I thought it might have been intentional)
And don't worry, I think it makes sense...
And it was my pleasure. I love giving feedback. :)

QwertyGirl–
I liked this a lot.
I really liked the lines
Why must we understand love?
Isn't it beautiful enough on its own?
(I don't think we need to understand it. I think we should just let it be what it is.)
Your ampersands in the line that begins with "I love music." are lovely. Actually, that entire line is lovely (& very relatable. I'd quite frankly die without music.)
Mm... make that the whole piece is lovely. :)
I loved the voice it had in it. :)
I loved this whole piece, from the beginning to the very end, well actually ESPECIALLY the end. I had to read the "Weird." What?" "I love that about you too" part before I understood it, but I liked the fact that I registered it in a different each time I read it.
This
was great to read. I love the dialogue at the end and what it does for the whole piece. I love the repition and the way it sort of comes out choppy as you read it. And the blatent honesty, that's always nice =]
