In The Winter

Snowflakes started to fall
As I sat on my bed
When the house is quiet as the dead
Inside myself I feel so small

The snow started falling harder
It started its swirling
I felt like going outside and twirling
Where my heart would beat faster

In the morning I awoke
I got on my boots and coat
I went outside to have fun
When I realized the snow was gone
