Numbing Pain

Depression is taking over my restless body.

The body that hopes to heal.

My entire world seems to be gone.

It's gone without a trace.

It's like I live to feel nothing but pain,

And yes pain is all I feel.

It's starting to numb,

Which you could say is better,

Then suffering with this kind of pain.

I talk pain, see pain, hear pain, feel pain,

Nothing but pain inside of me.

It's overflowing right out of my mouth,

So numbing that I just can't cry.

The pain is drifting away from me,

It hurt so much and now I'm relieved,

That the pain is moving,

And the numbing is on it's way.
