2:36am Ramblings about dreamings while sleeping.

I close my eyes and rest the pain throbbing, pounding.
Nothing else is quite as sweet as slipping away in between old sheets and blankets...
I open my eyes again to soaring whales of blue in skies of green.
He's waiting there again, and he smiles seduction
And speaks beautiful melancholy until I follow him.
I try my best to ignore the cheap two cent words-
But the tragedy I hear is worth a fortune.
Besides, did I mention he smiles seduction?
He's a salesman with a painful pitch,
'Stay with me, I need someone to help take care
Of all these dreams anyway. It won't cost a thing,
Maybe just your old life or two.'
It's a thought I know I should resist.
But did I mention he smiles seduction?
As soon as I begin to say
Whether or not I want to stay
A violent swirl and the world is gone.
And I'm in between old sheets and blankets again.
I open my eyes to the pain, throbbing and pounding.
