Future Prompt Ideas

Each year we get you, the students, to suggest ideas that would be fun to write to. Then we put them in a big list and have students vote on them. The best ideas survive and are incorporated into our Prompts for the year. If you have some ideas, go ahead and post them here. Give us a word and a direction for the writing.

Science

There could be a prompt about science. It could be any science too. *Physics, Chemistry, Earth Science, Biology, ect.* Maybe how it makes the world go around or how it makes you feel...

Trapped in a snow storm

You're trapped in your house during a snow storm and you can't leave. There's no power and you have minimal food supplies. Write what you would do, in first person.

P.S. Coming to the YWP cnvention will make you happy! So come to it! Or else!
