One Sentence (twenty nine through fifty)

Continuation of my One sentence stories... I don't know if they're getting better or if they're becoming more a part of me. maybe they're becoming more like prompts or truths.

29: I told her something yesterday that should never have left my mouth.

30: Sometimes the most wonderful things are those that scare us the most.

31: When you forget what you're supposed to care about, you realize nothing you do will ever matter.

32: Those memories, like the smell of stale beer and cigarettes, make me want to vomit.

33: We used to play in the attic, hoping that we wouldn't fall through the evenly spaced beams, into our parents bedroom.

34: I envy my brother's naivety.

35: I've always wanted to be in a burning room.

36: Everytimes he has glitter on his face, I wonder if he's been cheating on me.

37: Everyone has a secret.

38: I thought everyone could be pretty, until I met her.

39: He can't leave if I kill him.

40: After she threw me down the stairs, she laughed.

41: Even though he's a drug dealer, he's beautiful when he sleeps.

42: I remember the complete awe as he shot in front of the bus, flying gracefully back about ten yards, then landing like a crumpled dove in the pavement.

43: If I forgave you, I'd be an idiot.

44: I've never shown him anything I wrote about HIM.

45: My greatest fear is to be normal.

46: I wondered why I felt so different, then I realized, I was happy.

47: I hate him for the stupid things that he does.

48: My grandmother lives in a temple in Mexico.

49: I'm scared she judges me even as she'll read this.

50: If everyone was naked, no one would be able to hate what they look like.

I remember that last one.

46 sounds a little cliched but would make a good prompt. Actually, you're right there: a lot of these would make good prompts, particularly 33, 37, 47, etc. 36, 40, and 44 especially have stories in there. What does 49 mean?
