Permissions

PERMISSIONS. This site is for registered students from Vermont or New Hampshire to share writing, ideas and opinions. Students under the age of 13 need to have parental consent to register for this site. As a rule that means any students in seventh grade and below. In addition, teachers often need parental permission in order to submit student entries for the YWP Newspaper Series.

YWP has a downloadable permissions form designed for younger students, parents and teachers. This document is for teachers seeking permission from parents to submit their students' work and for parents to grant permission for their children to register on the YWP Web site.

Once you've sent it in, the younger student is free to register, log in and write away!

NOTE: We check all newly registered students and teachers. If the information is inaccurate, or if a student is too young and we do not have the parental consent form, we will shut down the account and notify the student.
