Wind Shield Wipers
I bite my lip till it bleeds
The microscopic cells, my brains main feed
I can feel my broken heart retracting
My low confidence very distracting
The publics eye raw with discontent
Seeing my face whiten as I relent
My toes cringe with goose bumps
As my veins feed of the blood my heart constantly pumps
It seems as if there are loose cables inside me waiting to be reconnected
Expecting the unexpected
I see my eyes close ever so slightly
But griping tightly
The long lashes acting as wind shield wipers
wiping the tears away, each wipe a little riper
...I bite my nail until it breaks
So much life at stake.

Gooood one. I like all of the little images that are connected but they come at you so quick... you get your face, down to your toes, back to your heart, and then you come full circle to the nervous chewing... which I also do... I really liked this one, nice work!
