Such A Pretty Color

Ciel the Sky Mortal's picture

*Okay, so... this was kind of creepy... but... I liked using the two points of view. So here it is! Enjoy!*

Too much blood was spilt, as we cried,
But dearest, don’t you love that color?
You know we didn’t survive the night,
And in the night it’s so much brighter.

The streets have run red with our death,
Because it makes such nice decorations!
Run, leave us dead, please leave the rest,
But you wouldn’t dare miss the celebrations!

Get away while the light still comes
But you must stay to see the stars!
Don’t listen to the siren’s black songs,
The living just love the shows like ours.

When the moon comes you’ll meet your fate,
Look at the shining crescent rising over the sky!
Leave before you’re hers, maybe it’s too late,
The moon's up, and red is so lovely in the light,

Don’t you think so darlings?

Beautiful

May I just say, it sounds like a wild Grell is on the hunt.
You are right, the two pounts of view really do add so much.
Creepy. Amazing. I love it.

Thanks!

Thanks! I'm glad that you liked it, and that the point of view thing added to it instead of making it harder to understand! And.. you just.. referenced... Grell. YES <3 Thanks again :D

Awesome

Grell FTW! Was that your intent or just an awesome coincidence? Either was, this is a great piece.

Thanks! I can't say that I

Thanks! I can't say that I thought of Grell specifically when writing this, but looking back, it really does sound Grell-ish! Which is kind of cool that it turned out like that. I do so love Grell :3 Thanks again!
