Inner Beauty

I've never been one of you.
I've roamed around with the few
that actually didn't care of my appearance.
I act like I don't care but, that's only my silence.
Inside I roar out with pain.
"Why can't my inner beauty reign?"
I scream, I pound and cry on the floor inside of me
but that never reveals my inner beauty.
My friends so gorgeous I can't believe
how they could ever be friends with me.
I say I'm alright and just another tom boy
but my friends getting looked at more doesn't give me much joy.
And inside I scream, I pound and cry on the floor inside of me
but that will neer reveal my inner beauty.
