My Favorite Character

In the book A Certain Slant of Light the main characters are a girl named Helen and a boy James. James is my favorite character in this book because he is really the only one that alive throughout the book. When I first started the book I didn’t really understand it because it’s with a girl who is really a ghost but it doesn’t come right out and say that she is a ghost. I found out that she was a ghost when she was saying that she was standing in the back of the classroom when a boy looks back and smiles and she is wondering if he really could see her. When she finds out that he really can see her she gets scared and doesn’t talk to him and she runs away from him. When she finds out that he really isn’t going to hurt her she starts to like him and wishes that he was her host. Because she wished that she had a different host the spirits pulled her back into hell.

James is also my favorite to

James is also my favorite to and at the beginning i did not know Helen was a ghost either
