Evil Parents

Some have questioned how the teenagers could have lived with their parents for so long and not have realized how evil they were. I don't think it is far-fetched. How many children of Nazis had no idea what their parents were doing? How many children of Mafia hitmen are sheltered with no concept of how their fathers make a living? Relatively quickly they turn on their parents. They make a great team.
