14. Procrastination. If you had more time, you’d be able to put it off longer. What do you put off to the last moment? Why? Tell a story about how you just barely got something done in time – or didn’t.
Alternate: Splat! Use that word in a story or a poem.

The Last time I ever wake up early

Beep-Beep-Beep!
The alarm clocks tone pummels my sleep-deprived brain,
like a pride fighters face.
I physically strike it,
gently,
“Just 5-more minutes”.

But alas this thorn is persistent,
and it won’t cease or desist until
it’s purpose of rousing me,
from my abysmal slumber,
has been fulfilled.

Time to get ready for school,
where I must go,
(but don’t really want to).
Cold breakfast,
Cold snow brushed from car.

New projects erase the possibility
of continued rest,
As I erase most of my answers for being wrong.
Lunch time fills my head with happy random thoughts,
before the “application” of my mind to “more important” tasks continues.

School is finally over,
and the time has come to work.
How are you sir?
and
Have a nice day ma’am.

Wary of suspicious characters.
Hazzah! a friend has arrived!
Works over, time to go home.
Home to cold dinner, but the promise of more sleep
That’s the last time I ever wake up early.
