Give feedback!

Each day we have new writing -- and new selections on the front page. An important part of this project is to give each other positive, constructive feedback. So add your comments to the writing. Read as a writer. Help out your fellow young writer!

Accept yourself; ignore the media

You! Yeah, you,
You’re the one who makes me feel fat and ugly,
I compare myself to everyone around me because of you,
You don’t even notice what you’re doing to the world.
You are ruining girls everywhere,
They think just because they aren’t 80 pounds and anorexic that they have something wrong with them.
Your making us resort to drugs and alcohol just to feel normal, and accept who we are.
Why don’t you just promote positive things towards women?
That would do a lot more good then bad.
Because of you girls cry at night because when they look in the mirror all they see is flaw.
They can’t seem to find good in themselves anymore.
The more you pound negative thinking into their brain, the more they think all they should do in life is get skinny so they can be something.
That’s the only way to be something these days if you’re stick-thin right?
Do you even notice what your doing?
Do you see what our world is turning into?
Slowly but surely people keep getting psychological problems because they think they have to be skinny.
Well screw you then.
You don’t deserve to be in this world.
You should be abolished for making people feel this way.
I will try my hardest to make sure young girls and women of all ages can accept themselves for who they are on the inside.
Beauty is on the inside.
The outside doesn’t matter one bit.
