14. Procrastination. If you had more time, you’d be able to put it off longer. What do you put off to the last moment? Why? Tell a story about how you just barely got something done in time – or didn’t.

Glass Divide

Glass Divide

By Courtney Perry
Bellows Falls Union High School, Grade 9

I’m on the outside
Looking in,
The words that I say
Don’t mean anything,
They aren’t enough
To truly describe
This situation.

I cannot know
What it really feels like,
Because I can only watch you
From the other side
Of the glass that will divide
You and I,
Forever.

This poem has a great set

This poem has a great set up. I like how you didn’t really reveal what was being separated until the end. I think there are a lot of things in life we want to have, but feel like there is a divider keeping us from it. Great work.
