Spring Time
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on March 30, 2008 - 08:35.Spring rays on the pristine snow,
Thrills me more than you could know.
Something beating soft and slow,
My heart is caught up in the spring time wooh.
Each year it comes,
Each year I smile,
Hope it stays for quite a while.

Whenever he gets excited, I hear the little lisps-
Out they come Sswinging Sso Ssweet,
To that 19th letter-a Ssecret Ssarinade.
It can happen when he’s happy,
it can happen when he’s sad
but either way it makes me kinda, sorta glad.
You see he’s perfect in every way,
its good to hear he is flawed like me at least once a day.
I am full of flaws,
Like speaking only half of what I’m thinking-but that’s ok,
because it makes him...
Oh you want me to finish that thought?
right!
it makes him Ssmile.
I love our flaws they make us-US.

START
I messed up.
So did you.
I tried to fix it,
But no band-aid could mend this horrible wound.
You stopped talking,
I was miserable.
You tried to fix it,
I could not forgive the pain you put me through.
They were sad,
We were not the same.
They tried to fix us,
Advice in a Word.
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on February 10, 2008 - 20:58.Sigh. Let it all out-Let out the secrets that have been holding you back.
Cry. Show how you feel, this moment is real, just like all of the other bad things.
Sing. Have a good time, you don’t have to rhyme, but if you do that’s ok too.
Love. For love is a gift, something to cherish not fear at all.
Stranger At Your Table
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on February 10, 2008 - 20:37.This is the last time you will see me as I. for I am about to change. You won’t see it at first mom, heck- you will be blind to this change. But one day, you will wake up, go down our creaky stairs that have aged as well as I have, and come into the kitchen to make your morning pot of coffee. Then you will turn and see a stranger sitting at your table.
The Wisdom of a Human
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on January 30, 2008 - 11:17.People
Are
Idiotic.
You, He, She, It, We, Yall, They-
Are oblivious.
You think you know me.
He thinks he sees everything I am.
She has know me since we were born, but really she blind to my soul.
It may be the clarinet I use to play my heart, but what does it know of my hardship, my fallen kin and woes?
Peter Pan and Olives
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on January 23, 2008 - 20:52.You know, everyone grows up. It’s a certain fact that people do indeed age, and with this age in our society most generally brings more and more responsibility pilled on one’s shoulders. This moment comes to every human at one point or another, when they see that they cannot be Peter Pan forever. This moment comes sooner to some than others.
Writers Block
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on January 9, 2008 - 13:03.You give me a page, and then you tell me to write. I sit up and ponder while my mind wonders all night. I toss and I turn, I kick and scream, for the words the once flowed… now pour, and I see every world unseen. I take runs to see the world, I do yoga to get me in a deeper place, I climb a mountain to see the sky clearer, thinking nature will show me the answer……
My Kingdom
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on December 10, 2007 - 23:01.My back yard growing up was a forest, which I created into something far more splendid than it was on the face. In my woods there was a running river that would rise and fall heavily through the seasons, with a small island(so small a young girl could start on one side and walk four steps and be on the other.
Everyone Makes Mistakes
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on December 5, 2007 - 11:19.Everyone makes mistakes,
The rhyme rings over and over…
H e shouldn’t have drank,
He shouldn’t have drive.
Everyone makes mistakes.
He shouldn’t have hit her,
She should of ran.
Everyone makes mistakes.
She should have said no,
Now, she is pregnant though.
Everyone makes mistakes.
She shouldn’t have played with that gun,
Now her brother is gone.
The Box (Behind the others, under that crate, in the corner of your closet)
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on November 27, 2007 - 11:18.In some cases a closet will be littered with everything under the sun: that shoe that never found its pair, the jump rope that has remained in its same place for years because its owner has long out grown such childish toys, scattered clothing, shelves cramped with markers, rulers, school supplies galore...

You’re a witch, if Molly says so,
You’re a witch, if I do too.
You’re a witch, if you do magic,
You’re a witch, so fantastic.
You’re a witch, with a birth mark there!
You’re a witch, now face the snare!
You’re a witch, is the snare too kind?
You’re a witch, I change my mind.

How NOT to Persuade Parents
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on September 26, 2007 - 10:26.How NOT to Persuade Parents
“May I please just take a moment?
Just a moment to explain?
Can I make you sympathize?
Can I make you feel my pain?
May I please just take a moment-
Yes, I promise: won’t be long.
Just let me persuade you that I am not completely wrong! ”
“She’s got a good point, if I may interject,
Open up your ears to listen to her intellect.”
Sports Expectations
Submitted by teenteltwin1 on September 18, 2007 - 10:26.Sports are a wonderful way to work your body, and stay healthy, but sometimes a team sport can take its toll on the players because of constant tensions that exist because of expectations each person holds for the other players, the team and themselves.
