3#

Three to me is as free as a bird in a tree
So many interpretations
Make so many elations
Three is a number
Three is a time
Three is so very fine
Three is the number of kids in my family
Three is a part of the code on my locker
Three is free
This is what three means to me
What does it mean to thee?

Just the Three of Us

Just the Three of Us

By Matteo Björnsson
Woodstock Union High School, Grade 10

It’s always been
Just the three of us
Through all the years
Of our lives
Brothers, sisters,
Siblings.
Although we are each other’s
Greatest annoyance,
We also hold each other’s
Greatest trust.
A bond that cannot be broken

Three

THREE.
THREE Days.
THREE Ways.
Eventing.
Dressage is day one. It is the beauty and grace. A flowing test that the rider and horse preform from memory. The day that is the base for your score.

Triplet Mood (three sets of three)

Triplet Mood (three sets of three)

By Molly Pekarik

tired perhaps
but satisfied
dwelling in the past

there is no moon outside
yet i see a light
your face reflected in the glass

a moment passed
someones life just changed
i wonder if its mine

Three Of Us

Three

By Bailey Walker
Home School, Grade 8

Three, standing.
Three, laughing.
Three, crying.

Three of us,
United by bonds
Of family.

Together, we
Support each other
With love.

Three.
A triangle,
A perfect
Shape.
We are
Bonded,
Forever,
Through anything.

Three, joking.
Three, playing.
Three, hugging.

We are
Connected in
Such a way
That no matter

Three

“Three, Two, One, GO!” the announcer said and the runners were off. Going at a fast pace, all 525 of them were on their way. Now all that was left was 15 miles and everybody would be done.

Three

Three

By Jen Latvis
Hartford Memorial Middle School, Grade 8

Having three people
Hangout together
Never works.

One person always
Excludes themselves
OR
The other two
Exclude the lonely third-wheeler
But three…
Never works.

That’s why it’s impossible for three.
That’s why it’s just you and me.

Three

Three, Three, Three. Should I call the number?

Three Days

Three days I’ve been sitting, waiting, watching, and unknowing of what’s to come. Cold sweat prickles on my arm like dew drops on the surrounding garden petals. I must get over that wall; I have only a short time before the light runs out.

#3

The #3

Yesterday, I was bored, so I picked up the newspaper in my mom’s office. I saw a section for young writers. I chose to write about the number three and why it’s special to me.

Three, Three, Three

Three, Three, Three

By Kacie Collins
Woodstock Union High School, Grade 10

Three rings of the school Bell
Three O’clock in the afternoon
Three minutes to run to the bus
Three, Three, Three
And then I am free.

The number THREE

three
three three
three three three
three is the number for me
three
three three
three three three
three is the number i see
three
three three
three three three
are you sick of the number three?

laugh

The three stooges
Moe!
Larry!
Curly!
You can't help but laugh
Not just any laugh though
A side-stitching
Heart Aching
Throat hurting
Nose snorting
Saliva spitting
LAUGH!

Three Columns, Three rows

By Corey Richardson
Lebanon High School, Grade 12

Three columns, three rows, of
Marching soldiers, ready for the battle next,
Keeping up moral, singing a marching tune
Keeping the steep set for them.

Waiting, watching for the coming of their enemy
Resting, marching and prepared to fight.
The enemy is here, giving them a good fight.
The battle is over, enemy was vanquished.

Three, Two, One, Now We're Having Fun

One is lonely, two is a couple, three is a crowd
I’d never believed this before now
As we, three, talk and discuss, three
Becomes too many, one too many
And the extra is me, number three
One, two, three, two, one too many
One leaves and three becomes two
Two too awkward without three
One leaves and two becomes one
One too alone without the others

Three

Three is my favovorit number
I want to eat a cucumber
I also like the summer
Dieing will be a bummer

Three

Three is the number of my best friends
We will be there for each other until the end
Through thick and thin, we've been through it all
Together we will never fall
We've kept every secret and we never lie
We always laugh until we cry

3 O'clock

Three o’clock, the bell
Everybody bursts out the door
I change for practice

Three Windows

My house has three large windows
In the very front
That let in three different views
Of sunlight, snow and rain.

From the outside, the world can see in-
But from the inside, the ‘in’ can see the world.

To me,
The number three
Means those windows.
The inside and the out.

Three

The third of July
It’s very special to me
It is my birthday

Tommy Counts to Three: A Story for Children

One day Tommy and his mommy were strolling in the park. It was a beautiful day with birds singing in the air.
"How many birds do you see Tommy?" asked Mommy.
"Dunno Mommy."
"Let's count! One, Two, Three!" said Mommy.
As they continued their walk, they saw some other young.
"How many children do you see now Tommy?"
"Dunno Mommy."
"Let's count! One, Two, Three!"

Three

Three is a number that is special to me
It’s the number I roll when I play Yaht-zee
It’s the number that is on my soccer pinney
Three is the number that is on my chairlift when I ski
Three was my shoe size, four is my new size, but
I still wear my threes and fours are no more
Whether I’m playing Yaht-zee or I’m about to ski,

Three

By Catherine Ingemi
Rochester High School, Grade 10

Three years,
Three months,
Three hours later…

Three o’clock in the morning,
and the pain is still here.
I can feel every scar burning.

Three years,
Three months,
Three hours later…

Three o’clock in the morning,
and the tears are still pouring.
I can feel every droplet still on my cheeks.

Three

Three

By Jessy Davenport
Woodstock Union High School, Grade 10

Three
Third time’s a charm
Good things come in threes
Twos company, but threes a crowd
A third wheel
An odd number
Awkward, uncomfortable, left out, embarrassment
Insecure, self-conscious, singled out, alone
Nothing comes in packs of three, or makes room for that extra person
Three can be as bad as one
