spring

Untitled

I haven't decided whether or not this poem is done yet:

Water drips down
Being wrung from
The cottony clouds
Backed by the soft blue
Reflected through the prism
By sunlight

The mulch
And the rocks
Lend their perfume
To the air
Mixing with the rain's
Soap that's been cleaning
The tree leaves

I inhale
Taking in the scents
From the mixing pot
It smells like spring

Hint

Your shadow casts upon the ground,
Just as the sun encompasses your body.
The warmth of the sun penatrating your skin.
Lean back, relax, its just a hint of spring.

The sun shines, as a dark cloud rests in the sky,
And rain sprinkles down on you, dousing your skin.
You glance towards the sky; a rainbow of perfection.
Lean back, relax, its just a hint of spring.

Spring Poem

Now the snow is gone.
Made in China plastic bags
Candy Wrappers
Bottle caps waiting to choke something.
Dirt, rocks, dead grass
Dead/living trees with
No more snow to make them enchanted.

Broken racket balls
Like fake gems
Poptart wrappers
Reflecting the spring sun.

Smells of murdered grass
Molding moss
And cologne.

Trees marked for execution
Flowers making first and final stands
Charred caterpillars from
Children’s games.

Now the snow is gone.
And it’s time
For the paid workers
To clean up after us.

The Mega Awesome Water-Pipe Gap

I woke one saturday morning and decided that I was going snowboarding. It was spring riding weather so I threw on a pair of jeans and my tall tee and set off for the mountain. When I got there I decided I was going to ride park for the day and try to meet up with some people from my class. The park was sick so I rode park for a little while, then, as I was riding up the summit chair-lift at Mt. Snow, I saw something that I hadn’t noticed when I was going up the lift earlier, I saw this gap in the trees between two trails. There were two pipes side by side, then about ten feet of grassy hill below them, and one of the trails was a little higher than the other one. I thought, that is an awesome spot to build a jump, there was even a decent landing. I could go off the jump, over the pipes down the bank and onto the trail below. I rode down to this spot and started to build it. After working on it for about forty-five minutes I had built a pretty decent jump. I was getting much applause from the chair-lift while I built it, even some of the Mt. Snow employees were applauding me. While I built it, I wondered what ski patrol would do about it, if they caught me building this would they just ask me to stop, or would they pull my pass?

First Spring Breeze

First spring breeze
Brings life to everything around
And revives the worn winter souls
That hurried inside from the cold
And could not stay outside for long
Now we can stand warmly in sun's return
As our smiles also come home
From their icy vacation that ends
With the first spring breeze

Spring Time

Spring rays on the pristine snow,
Thrills me more than you could know.
Something beating soft and slow,
My heart is caught up in the spring time wooh.
Each year it comes,
Each year I smile,
Hope it stays for quite a while.

The spring is coming,
little white buds of apples,
are spiraling down

Soon

the sun
streams
through
the window

as the snow
drip
drip
drips
off the roof

finally it's spring
and the snow is melting

but that was yesterday

Sakura no ai

They fall so gracefully,
The pink snowflakes of spring.
Their sweet scent fills the air
When the gentle wind blows.
They carpet the young grass
And warm the thawing ground.
They are a sign of peace,
A sign of romance.
Sakura no ai.

Green

Green reminds me of spring
Which brings me a feeling of hope that
What soon to be abolished
Are the rough winter storms
And how beautiful spring days
Are soon to be the norm
Flowers of all different colors will be seen
Nature will paint images that are picturesque
Cold, wintry days will be experienced less and less
It’ll be a time when you no longer freeze

Flowers Mumbling Hallelujah

Digging their roots
through the brown spilled soil.

Scattering seeds
to swaying green blades
praying to the deep blue.

Flowers are blooming
and mumbling, hallelujah
offering pedals to the wind,

caught playfully
and tossed by lazy gusts
tumbling to the earthy mud.

An infant girl skips
staying in time with the
rolling laggard landscape

From above Golden streamers dance
