My Grandparents
Submitted by faughnanc on April 11, 2008 - 11:41.My Grandma is always,
teaching me,
What I now know.
She taught me how to fish,
And about her.
She taught me,
All I know about computers.
If me and my mom had a fight,
She would usually take my side.
My grandfather,
Unfortunately I can’t say much about,
He died before I was born.
He broke his neck,
Diving into a lake.
My mom said that,
He would be very proud.
Evidence

By Travis Near
Hartford Memorial Middle School, Grade 8
There is no evidence,
That I'm innocent.
There is no evidence,
That I'm guilty.
My rights say,
Innocent until proven guilty,
My town says,
Guilty until proven innocent.
They have no evidence to lean on,
However neither do I.
My word is the only thing,
My lawyer has,
To defend my rights,
And also my freedom.
Closet
Submitted by faughnanc on November 28, 2007 - 14:36.He opened his closet and got piled with stuff. Harmful chemicals, matches, a fake skeleton, his dead anaconda that apparently didn’t ran away, bundles of clothes and a lot of socks. The WD40 that his dad bought for him, his last year’s birthday cards, an old broken TV, his old slugger bat, baseball cards, and his old karate uniform with his old blue belt.
Flood
Submitted by faughnanc on November 14, 2007 - 15:19.Puny humans,
So much for the smart specie.
All of them,
Down there,
Quivering in fear.
What's wrong with a little water?
Even my kind can take a little water!
They are the biggest cowards
On this planet!
Not so strong,
After a tiny,
Misplaced,
Mud puddle!
It's not even one foot deep.
So Puny yet so smart,
HOW?
