14. Procrastination. If you had more time, you’d be able to put it off longer. What do you put off to the last moment? Why? Tell a story about how you just barely got something done in time – or didn’t.

A Shooting Star

I have seen a shooting star
once or twice
I wonder why it has been cast aside,
like scraps unfit for kings
But enough
to be a feast for beggars?
Why, if it falls, if it does on its own accord?
Does it wish to see the world up close
not from the cold sky
but alongside the trees and stones?
Is it curious, wanting to see us in our own
as much as we want to see it
and its kin
up close?

Wishing on a Shooting Star

I am wishing on a shooting star,
Sending my wish way out far
Into the night,
Out of sight,
Past the end of light.

My wishes is simple and unique
And they are the only things I seek.
Maybe a guy,
The ability to fly,
Never to say “Goodbye.”

I also wish for worldwide peace,
And maybe to have love increase.
No more war
And it’s gore
Anymore.
